Looper Moth Caterpillar |

This larva was found on Hibiscus, Machakos, Kenya. 30 May 2017. |
This moth larva was found on a plant, Hibiscus flavifolius, that can become very abundant on grassland savanna habitats that are under heavy grazing pressure. Very often when a species becomes very abundant in a habitat there arise species that can feed on it, and this in turn puts downward pressure on dense populations.
