Eutelia sp. |
|
Observed at Nairobi, Kenya, Africa. Oct. 2016. |
The wings and body are highly contorted when the insect is resting. The adult moths would be well hidden on the rough bark of a tree, but are vulnerable to predation when attracted to lights. Birds, bats, lizards and toads are among the animals that feast on the insects coming to electric lights. Noctuidae/Euteliinae -- Moth FamilyMore Information: |
