A slender plant about 30cm tall with narrow grass-like leaves and with small pale lavender flowers. The five petals are conspicuously divided at the tip, suggesting ten total petals. The sepals, below the petals, are fused into a long tube with the upper portion expanded. The leaves are opposite on the stem from swollen nodes. Caryophyllaceae -- Pink FamilyMore Information: |
