Murdannia simplex

Growing from crevices in a rock outcrop, Wundanyi, Taita Hills, Kenya, Africa. 28 May 2017.

The leaves are linear, nearly grass-like. The open flowers have three, blue, sub-equal, oval petals. Below the current open flower there is a row of swollen knots which represent the scars of the older flowers.
