This vine was using a fence for support. Even though the plant was accessible to grazing animals, I did not observe any browsed stems/leaves. Opposite the leaves on the stem are the tendrils which can twine around fence wire or twigs of other plants. Vitaceae -- Grape FamilyMore Information:
