WOODY PERENNIAL / SHRUB: Stems woody below with a number of unbranched stems surpassing 2 m.

FLOWERS: The flowers are small, tubular, four-lobed and creamy white in color. Spike inflorescences at branch tips with flowers arranged into regular clusters along the stem.

LEAVES: Leaves are elliptic with shiny green top surface and cottony white undersurface.

RANGE: Highland areas of the Rift Valley in Kenya. Many species of Buddleja from Asia, Africa and the Americas. This one did not appear to be attractive to butterflies.

FRUIT: many seeds within each small capsule.

UNARMED.
