- Ray Flowers: ALL of the florets are bright yellow, including the rays.
- Disc Flowers: These too are bright yellow.
- Phyllaries: the phyllaries tightly enclose the florets and there is just a single rank of them.
- Pappus: the seeds are topped with numerous, silky white filaments.
- Leaves: The leaves have long petioles and a fan-shaped terminal lobe. Petioles and stems are pubescent.
