  • Disc Flowers: The disc flowers are lavender and five-lobed.
  • Ray Flowers: No ray flowers.
  • Phyllaries: Densely long pubescent and infused with lavender-purple pigmentation.
  • Pappus: numerous fine bristles atop seeds
  • Leaves: The leaves are elyptic and shallowly toothed on the margins.
