This well-camouflaged lizard was slowly crossing a bare-earth trail when first encountered making it very conspicuous instead. This one is from Kakamega forest where a prehensile tail is generally a beneficial adaptation for an arboreal habit. Chamaeleonidae -- Chameleon FamilyMore Information: |
