Red-tailed Monkey

The range of this primate in Kenya is the far west of the country with Kakamega Forest the most likely place to be observed. Like Sike's and DeBrazza's monkeys, the red-tailed monkey can carry food in its cheek pouches, freeing hands and feet for the business of navigating tree branches. This small troop was feeding on figs.
